About the Blog

Even though this blog started as a school project, I made it a platform where I can freely rant about issues that plague the disabled community that are falling on deaf ears. From critiquing the lack of accommodations found in the city of Toronto, to into critiquing Films, TV shows & Books and everything disabled-related under the sun.

About the Blogger

Catherine Dumé, aka Amelia Arrows is a Jamaican-Canadian content creator. She writes both fiction (poetry, novels, short stories) and nonfiction (essays, blogs, news articles) on various topics, including disabilities. She also has a podcast/ YouTube Channel “Ask Amelia” where she answers questions about writing for young writers.

After attending Uoft, she has fallen in love with the city. The thrilling freedom, diverse cultures, the food, the music, the film festivals, the TTC shenanigans…

However, there are problems within the city that prevent it from being an accessible space for her and the rest of the disabled community. She hopes to shed light on those issues to spark change and to improve the city.
